snow day

I woke up this morning to a beautiful white wonderland – I tweeted a photo of the house (and our cute volvo out front) for you all to see:) We got a mere dusting compared to much of the east coast, but I couldn't be happier – it feels like true winter has finally arrived! Scott and I hopped into our duck boots, threw on our trapper hats, and took off down the snowy road with Zelda – it was gorgeous! Of course this compelled me to throw together a little guide for a snowy day, as I had such fun putting together my rain check guide last fall. I'd love to know – what do you love to do on a snowy day?

Number 7 has to be my favorite, although all of them are fantastic! I just got a belated Christmas gift, a book I've been wanting to read for quite some time. So excited to sit by the Christmas tree with the falling snow outside and read it!

your new house is precious! I can't wait to have one of my own. on snowy days (well on the days were it is really snowing) I like to curl up to a good classic and drink hot cocoa. and on the days following that amazing snow fall I like to venture outside and play a little! it's too beautiful to resist!
