ensemble...

Scott and I signed the lease on our new apartment today and I'm so excited to call Central Park my neighbor! I didn't want to jinx things til it was officially inked on the dotted line, but I'm so smitten with our cute little place. It's a few short tree-lined blocks from the Met and the toy boat pond (two of my absolute favorite places since childhood!), and all the shops and eateries you could want. I'm already daydreaming of peddling my bike around the park in the fall and popping over for lunchtime picnics with Zelda... figured this colorful ensemble would do the trick :)
I grew up in Manhattan, going to school in Greenwich Village, and have lived in various spots on the west side as well as on the lower east side, but never uptown. So... if you're a local I'd love to hear tips and recommendations! I'm so excited to explore my new neighborhood in my old city. xo

YAY!!!
VERY exciting! All the best to you. Two restaurants my friends and I enjoy are--Le Bilboquet on 63rd between Park and Madison, delicious french fare and great people watching. Also Lumi on Lexington for the ceasar salad made table side. Delish!
How wonderful - congratulations!
Welcome to the UES! Hopefully you already know all about the amazing Two Little Red Hens (best cinnamon rolls and scones in the universe) and Joe (best coffee in the 'hood, hands down). And, of course, the overpriced but wonderful Lady M. We've also had a few exciting restaurant openings recently, including the awesome ABV up at 97th and Lex, and a whole host of spots in the east 70s and 80s. Oh, and for sushi, you must try Poke on 85th. Must, must, must.
Ooooh, and Cafe Sabarsky, of course.
Sometimes I forget how awesome my neighborhood is - thanks for the reminder.
Thank you for such great suggestions! Adding them to my list.
xx
Congrats!! So exciting!! I'm loving all these colors together.
Bike riding in the fall through Central Park---can it get any better than that?! My sister and I enjoyed last year's Indian summer weekend in Central Park and must say you are one lucky duck for having it be at your fingertips =)
How very exciting! Congrats on the new digs. I adore Central Park, it's magical all times of year and to be able to take a short walk to it is heavenly:)
Yay!! Congrats on the new place! Let me know when you're settled, I'd love to meet up/plot some MB adventures!
Of course, Sarah! Can't wait to have you over and museum hop! xx
How exciting! Congrats! Also, I'm loving everything about this board!

pretty awesome. And you need to go feed the ducks a la blair. Because even if you hate gossip girl, that part is pretty awesome.
