We spent Saturday packing (in brown boxes not nearly as glamorous as this J.Crew number, sigh), savoring our second to last weekend of country living (so bittersweet), and brainstorming design ideas for the new apt. I picked up materials to make cornice boxes for the windows, following an online tutorial of course – I'm excited to pick out the fabric for them and the curtains next time I'm in the garment district. Here are a few other items I have my eye on:
Gorgeous NY calligraphy print – a must-have for my new office area / new keys call for a new key fob / classic striped dress / belt / wrist watch / earrings / belgian loafers / pink panama notebook / the perfect suitcase / and as always, I'll take New York rain or shine...
PS. All cornice-making tips are welcome :)

Love. All of it.
Thanks, Sarah! See you soon in the city ;)
I would love to see your cornices when you finish. I want to make some myself, but don't know where to start! Beautiful, inspiring blog post, as always!
Hi Teri, Thank you!
I'll certainly share photos of the finished product :)
