culture files

In sub-freezing temps I find galleries and museums exceptionally heart-warming spots to hide out. In a mini pocket guide of sorts, a few shows that I particularly enjoyed the past couple weeks (if you too are looking for warmth and culture in NYC): heidi howard / david hockney / saira mclaren / a delicate balance / theodore rousseau / madame cezanne / scottish national gallery masterpieces

PS. Keep abreast of my favorite galleries and museums by following @jane_lilly on instagram

Thank you for the wonderful tips! The exhibits all look fantastic - have only been to the madame cezanne one... and what better way to spend a freezing rainy sunday than watching Elizabeth Taylor and Katharine Hepburn!
