ten ways to ease into the holiday season

As I head out to my first holiday party of the season tonight, there's no denying that though it's only November 12th and feels like a sultry spring day, mistletoe and hot toddies are just around the corner...
Here's 10 ways to ease into the coziest time of year:

1/ Add a touch of holiday to your decor with this double-happiness ornament
2/ Brighten your walls with prints from Katie Armour's beautiful new Buddy Editions
3/ Wrap yourself in this men's cashmere buffalo check scarf
4/ Knits. Knits. Knits.
5/ Make an understated pop of sparkle your wintertime day-to-night essential
6/ Treat yourself (and monogram it!)
7/  Remember that it's the little things that count... looking at you, pinky ring
8/ More time lounging inside (with a book by the fire, hopefully) means an excuse to shop for throw pillows
9/ Challenge your fam to a classic bout of bananagrams
10/ Update the classics with this chic black + brown pair of duck boots
