I hope everyone has had a chance to read the August issue of Matchbook! Each issue is a proud accomplishment for our small team, but this one just a tad more so. Our very own Katie Armour featured her (old) San Francisco apartment, and it was simply stunning! Lavender walls brimming with artwork, ginger jars overflowing with purple hydrangea, pheasant feathers, red polka dot Porthault linens, gingham and leopard upholstry, a sky high collection of vintage art books and treasures... PS. Apologies for the silence around here, but I'm sure you're all thrilled to know that we've made great headway on painting and wallpapering (yes, a daunting task!) our new apartment. So excited to begin decorating shortly... I'll be sharing some of my favorite finds from my hunt along the way.

I recently painted an accent wall in my office with Sherwin Williams' Paradise… and I'm in love! It instantly transformed the space, and is so fun to accessorize against. I'm saving the color in mind for when we move back into an apartment in the city, I would love to use it in a foyer or other small space. I was especially excited to see House Beautiful's recent "Green Issue" and found so much inspiration in its pages.
